Mr. Abdullah has produced a good modern short story which plays out one day in the life of a young man up for starting his professional career away from his family environment. As usual his English writing is excellent. Dramatization of the day’s event is very good, all falling in place, right amount of subtleties and nothing exaggerated. I would describe it as a sharp modern short story.
