Three months after arriving in Australia from Bangladesh on a student visa with his new wife Nahida, 25 year-old Mohammad Hossain was diagnosed with tuberculosis meningitis and admitted to Liverpool Hospital's Intensive Care Unit. This film documents the struggle of ICU director Gillian Bishop and her staff to find the appropriate treatment for Hossain's illness and interpret events to Nahida.
