 The Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB) Australia Overseas Chapter Registration No: INC1800732 - LN Bangladesh is Now Full Signatory of Washington Accord The Institution of Engineers Bangladesh (IEB) has received full Washington Accord accreditation status. All 23 signatory countries have approved this accreditation at the International Engineering Alliance conference held at New Delhi on the 12th June 2024. One of the objectives of IEB Australia’s Chapter was to have full signatory status of Washington Accord for Bangladesh. IEB Australia Chapter has been working on this much awaited issues since 2016 with Engineers Australia, IEB HQ, Board of Accreditation for Engineering and Technical Education (BAETE), immediate past chairman of Washington Accord emeritus Professor Elizabeth Taylor and late Professor Jamilur Reza Choudhury. Professor Saiful Amin and all members of IEB Australia Chapter. This achievement is for Bangladeshi Engineers who will get full international accreditation in all 23 signatory countries including bilateral accreditation countries worldwide for higher studies, jobs, migration, research and more importantly better foreign remittance to Bangladesh.
