My thanks and regards to the team who made this timely documentary. It is worth watching, I really enjoyed the film with a heavy heart.

I met Faridi bhai for a short spell of time when he participated in "Melbourne Theatre Utsab 2002". I was inspired by his acting power, role like "Chhaya Ranjon", "Takkhok", "Munatisir" or "Talukder". I still remember his famous dialogues e.g. "Aami to jomi kinina, paani kini." or "Dekho Bonoshibala, tumi jodi aamake biye na koro, aami mosolman hoya jaabo.." etc.

No question in my mind; undoubtedly he was the best in our generation.

His first marriage to Minu Faridi in the 70`s with a "Beli phuler mala" also steered lots of public attention, including Bongobondhu`s.

He was unique, he was selfless and he was different by all means. My hats off to Faridi bhai.
