Bangladesh is facing one the worst flood in living memory. Government of Bangladesh has undertaken a number of measures with its own resources to tackle the effects of this devastating flood.
Although the Government has not sought any international assistance for flood relief but there may be Governments and individuals including the expatriate community wishing to donate funds etc. In such cases, it has been decided by the Government of Bangladesh that it will receive only cash, food grains, water purification tablets and portable water purifying machines in case of Governments or organizations and only cash in case of individuals.
