Thank you very much for your comments. Your apprication is very important to our team. We are inspired to do more work. Of course you can get involved easily. We need everybodies help.
I have to mention that this work was not done by me alone. It was my idea but lot of other people helped me along the way. I have to mention a few names.
First of all my wife Dr. Mashreka Sarwar Mukti. She is a great help. Then Dr. Khalilur Rahman(my Anaesthesiologist elder brother) and his team. About ten other Anaesthesdiologists were diectly involved.
I have to thank Dr. SL Sen, Plastic Surgeon and his team, a group of Pediatric Surgeons, Dr. Quamruzzaman, Dr.Shafiqul Haque, Dr.Kabirul Islam, Dr. Shahid Karim, Dr. Bijoy Das, Dr.Aziz, my Maxillofacial surgical colleagues - Dr.Motiur Rahman Molla and his team.
I am grateful to the wonderful nursing staff in Dhaka, Pabna, Rajshahi and Rangpur. I am grateful to Dr. Latifur Rahman (Anaestetist) from Rajshahi. He was a great help. I am also very thankful to Dr. Mosaddek Hossain from Rangpur.
I have to thank the OT staff and my Pabna Popular Hospital Ward Boys. These ward boys are great people. They work so hard for their money. They are so nice and helpful. Always smiling. They are more then happy to organize patients from their villages. I am happy to operate on these kids. It is a great reward to see their beautiful smile after they get better. About 200,000 patients need this surgery in Bangladesh. It is a big job and it needs a collective effort from all of us.
About my Australian colleagues in Aussi Bangla Smile, they are fantastic people. I will tell their stories someother time.
Dear Atiqur Rahman, I am coming to Bangladesh at the end of February 2008. We are planing to operate about 30 patients in the Dhaka Community Hospital. Of course you can sponsor a patient.
