Good Morning Bangladesh
2022, Another Year of Success!

Bangladeshi Community living in Sydney has raised $46,664 this year (2022) for NSW Cancer Council’s ‘Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea’ initiative under the ‘Good Morning Bangladesh’ program. This event is a collective effort and dedication of many volunteers, contributors, and community members.

Like previous years, there were three events organised at Mascot (29 May 2022), Lakemba (5 June 2021) and Blacktown (19 June 2022).

Through these initiatives, the Bangladeshi-Australian community significantly contributes to cancer treatment, prevention, and research. This program was first initiated by Late Dr Abdul Haq of Hassall Grove in 2001.

We have now crossed the $337k mark with this year’s collection. The last 21 years’ collection outcomes are attached here.

We want to thank all the volunteers and community members for their generous contribution and unconditional support towards this program over the years.
