Good Morning Bangladesh
2021, Another Year of Success!

Bangladeshi Community living in Sydney has raised $38,341 this year (2021) for NSW Cancer Council’s ‘Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea’ initiative under the ‘Good Morning Bangladesh’ program. This is a collective effort and dedication of many volunteers, contributors and community members.

Three events have been organised this year including 2 face-to-face events at Lakemba (13 June 2021) and Blacktown (20 June, 2021) and last one over Zoom for Mascot (27 June 2021) due to COVID restrictions.

Through these initiatives Bangladeshi-Australian community makes a significant contribution towards cancer treatment and research. This program was initiated by Late Dr Abdul Haq of Hassall Grove in 2001.

We have now crossed $291,000 mark with this year’s collection. The last 20 years’ collection outcomes are attached here.

We would like to thank all the volunteers and community members for their generous contribution and unconditional support towards this program over the years.
