Thanks for the article. I had few opportunities to witness such ‘strange behaviour’ around food and always wondered why we do we do this? There were many occasions where we came home with empty stomach and had food at home. I wondered if this has anything to do with the event management or if this is part of our past learning. The scenario that you have described is not an exception….it is a current practice. If culture is what we do and what we practice….then should we call this as ‘our culture’?
This could be a good topic for a research!!!!
