I strongly agree with eminent writer Ms Dilruba Shahana that BRAC has tremendous contribution to increase the literacy rate in Bangladesh specifically for girls. I visited most remote corners of Bangladesh and had a chance to come across BRAC schools. There were some areas where it was nearly impossible to reach for spreading any program. The BRAC has reached that area and built a school. I found their schools in the areas of char, bil, haor, island, forest, tila, hill most definitely in the slam where there was no formal education programs.
