 Positions Vacant Circular Our organisation, CASS Care Ltd, invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill a number of new positions at our brand new 63-bed Residential Aged Care Facility (RACF) in Campsie, which is expected to commence operation in mid-January 2015. CASS Care Ltd is a registered charity dedicated to serve the community with a wide range of welfare services, including ageing and disability services and many other community based services. The new RACF is the first installation of its kind for our organisation, and it is targeting the seniors of East Asian background. We are looking for people enthusiastic to serve the seniors in the community to join our motivated team to work in our expanded services. The positions available include: Cook (Full-time / Part-time) You will need to: - Hold a certificate of Food Safety Supervisor; - Hold Food Handling & Food Safety Certificate; - Have experience in preparing menus and food ordering, and have previous experience in a similar role as a Cook for East Asian cuisine, including Chinese, Korean and South East Asian food; - Have demonstrated experience in managing a diverse work team; - Have previous experience working in an Aged Care/Health setting (highly desirable). Kitchen Hand (Full-time / Part-time) You will need to carry out: - All kinds of food preparation as directed; - Sanitation and cleanliness of the kitchen, including utensils, tools, containers, clothes, towels and food storage areas, etc; - Serving food; - Storing raw materials and excess food appropriately; - Instructions as directed by supervisor; - Communicate effectively with other kitchen staff members and RACF colleagues in English and one or more common Chinese dialects prevalent in Australia. Handyman/Driver/Gardener (Full-time / Part-time) You will need to: - Possess an Australian Drivers Licence; - Drive a mini bus whenever requires; - Attend to general maintenance and gardening as directed between bus runs; - Communicate effectively with other colleagues in English and ability to speak one or more East Asian languages or Chinese dialects an advantage.
