Ajoy Dasgupta's Mother Passed Away
Srimoti Pravabati Dasgupta, mother of popular columnist and great public speaker Ajoy Dasgupta, passed away in Chittagong last night (17-Oct-2011). She was 86 and has been suffering from age related complications. She was born in a very educated and noted family involved in "Swadeshi Andolon". She is survived by four daughters one son and five grand children. We pray for her departed soul and express our heart felt condolences to all the members of her bereaved family.
