Rizia Chowdhury Passed Away!
Rizia Chowdhury, mother-in-law of Ruhul Huq Chowdhury of Hassallgrove passed away today (2-May-2011) at 1:50am at the palliative care unit of Mount Druitt Hospital in Western Sydney (Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilaihi Rajiun). Her only daughter, Nurjahan Yasmin Chowdhury passed away on 06-Jul-2010. She is survived by her only son who is living in Toronto, Canada and five grandchildren. We pray for her departed soul and express our heartfelt condolences to all the members of her bereaved family. Her burial will take place at the Riverstone Cemetery (Garfield Road) tomorrow (Tuesday), 3-May-2011 following Namaj-e-Janaza at the Auburn Gallipoli Mosque (Turkish Mosque) at 12pm after Zuhr prayer – Dr Abdul Haq

Tragic Death of an Engineering Student!
Taha Rezwan, a 3rd year Electrical Engineering student from Bangladesh at the University of Newcastle, died on Monday, 16th of May 2011 (Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilaihi Rajiun). He was only 24. It appears he fell from a balcony on the 3rd floor of the university library around 10:00pm and later died in hospital. His body was brought to Sydney from Newcastle on Tuesday evening. We pray for his departed soul and express our heartfelt condolences to all members of his bereaved family. His father Md. Rezwanul Hoque lives in Abu Dhabi. His parents are expected to arrive from Abu Dhabi on Thursday. According to his uncle, Engineer Mohammad Monsurul Hoque of Stanhope Garden, his burial will take place at Riverstone Cemetery (Garfield Road West) on Friday, 20th May 2011 following Namaj-e-Janaza at Lakemba Mosque after Jumaa prayer. Jumaa khutba at Lakemba Mosque starts at 12:10pm.
