Date: 7/18/2005 !!!!!!!!!!> Appeal for Hridoy Our individual contributions collectively stand at AU$ 6,914.30. All the money has been transferred to a nominated account in USA. We have saved the transfer fee (about $50) with the help of Hasan Mahmood Shafi (Shujon) a CBA bank employee, who transfered the money for free. We are trying to double the amount through a friend who works for Microsoft USA. Microsoft has announced to match the amount `dollar for dollar`. If we succeed, our total contribution from Australia will stand at roughly AU$ 14,000.00. We will let u know once it's done. I would like to thank everyone for their generous contributors. It`s a great success. Special thanks goes to Ziaur Rahman from Monash University who took the initial drive to raise funds for Hridoy in Melbourne. Update: Hridoy has been admitted to National Hospital in Singapore on 14-Jul-2005. For more information please visit: ![]() - Nawshad Shah 15-Jul-2005 | |
